Turgay Genç, Mayor of Döşemealtı Municipality, said in the protocol signed for laying 35 kilometers of new natural gas lines in the district in 2023, “Since we came to office, 226 km of natural gas infrastructure work has been done and 14 thousand houses have reached natural gas.”
Döşemealtı Mayor Turgay Genç’s efforts for the district to benefit from natural gas yielded results in 2017. As a result of the negotiations and application made by Mayor Genç with the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA), a natural gas pressure reduction station with a capacity of 37 thousand cubic meters was established with an investment of 1 million 200 thousand euros on an area of 2 thousand 500 square meters in Çıplaklı Neighborhood. Genç, who signed a protocol with the authorized institution for the construction of the Natural Gas Regional Station, enabled the district to meet natural gas.
Total 226 kilometers of line
Stating that they provide all kinds of support and convenience to the investor company as the municipality, Mayor Genç continued his words as follows: “Since we came to office, 226 km of natural gas infrastructure work has been done and 14 thousand houses have reached natural gas. Our goal is to deliver natural gas to the whole of our region as soon as possible and to everyone who wants it.”
According to the signed protocol, the natural gas line excavation permit and the repair, repair, re-asphalting and cobblestone laying works on the streets and streets damaged during the works will be carried out by the contractor company.
